Egyptian History

Egypt is on the Nile. The Nile used to be safest place in the world. Egyptians were often buried with things that were useful and pleasurable in life. The Old Kingdom lasted from 2649 to 2152 B.C.E , the Middle Kingdom lasted to 2040 to 1640 B.C.E , the New Kingdom lasted from 1550 to 1070 B.C.E. They have two forms of writing sacred writing and demotic writing for recording contracts and decrements. And Old Kingdom Egypt was rich but around 2250 B.C.E there were a series of droughts and pharaohs started fighting over who should have power. One group the Hexsos were able to conquer all of Egypt, Egyptians made lots of food with little work, they believed that animals had divine power. The new rulers were outsiders, the Hexsos.
