Membranes and Transport

Cells take in the things they need and keep out the things they don't need. Passive transport doesn't need energy. Active transport needs energy. Water goes to places were there is less water. Hypertonic means Lot's of stuff in the water, hypotonic means not so much stuff in the water, isotonic means the same amount of stuff in the water. water can permuate cell membranes.
